Damien J. Johnson is an award-winning, chart-topping Ipswich-based Country/Folk/Blues artist whose music is defined by heartfelt storytelling and a deep connection to regional Australian life.
In 2025, Damien was named a Grand-Finalist in the Australian Country Music Stars competition and selected as the main support act for iconic Scottish band Big Country on their Greatest Hits tour.
He has shared the stage with Australian music icons James Blundell, Daryl Braithwaite, and David McCormack (Custard).
He has received national airplay and support from ABC Country and ABC Local Radio.
Beyond his musical achievements, Damien J. Johnson is a passionate advocate for the local arts community.
He has received national recognition via the ABC for his work promoting local live music and remains an active supporter of grassroots arts initiatives, including events like the SPARK Festival, as well as ongoing support for local venues and emerging artists.
