Above The Bar Life Drawing

Life Drawing is back on at Banshees Bar & Artspace (131 Brisbane St, Ipswich). 4 - 6pm on the first Sunday of the month.

Come along and create in your media of choice. The sessions are $20, untutored, and will employ a nude model, alternating M/F by session. You decide if this is for you or not! 😁

The session will run through a variety of length of poses from warm-ups through to some longer ones. It will nominally look like this:

3 x 1 minute

3 x 3 minute

3 x 5 minute

3 x 10 minute

5 minute break

3 x 15-20 minute

For this coming October 2025 session, we will be utilising the stage in the main bar area, meaning more room and alot more accessible!

Limited art supplies will be available (A4/A3/A2 paper, pencils, charcoal, pastels) and plenty of drawing boards. If you have specific requirements then please BYO.

Please arrive by 3:50pm to pick your seat and prep for that first pose at 4:00pm.
