About the Show
The Neon Signs are returning to light up Banshees for the first time since their sell out show in October 2025, to celebrate the recent release of their latest single “Wishful Thinking”. Joining them for this not to be missed show will be Gold Coast indie popsters The Goldhearts and Brisbane three-piece alt-country act Tin Star.
About the Bands
Brought up on a diet of 80s indie-guitar bands, 60s pop and AM radio hits, The Neon Signs’ distinctive blend of guitar jangle and dark country illuminates the depths of human emotions. Following the success of their 2024 debut album “Empty Room” and a #12 on the 4ZZZ Hot 100 for their single “One Kiss is Fatal”, The Neon Signs will be celebrating their new single “Wishful Thinking” The Neon Signs - Wishful Thinking (feat. Mocara Kelly)
The Goldhearts play indie rock, heaving in harmony, perfumed with pop and twinged with twang. After playing shows around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney for the last 10 years, The Goldhearts will be playing their first show in Ipswich to celebrate the recent release of their new single Original National. The track aims to promote reconciliation by acknowledging Aboriginal perspectives and truths and features indie guitars and haunting colonial violins. Brisbane trio Tin Star have been doing their musical mash up together for quite a few years now - part folk, part rock, part Americana, but always very much originals in the song department. They have soaring vocals and 3-part harmonies to rival the Von Traps. Listen to Tin Star at Music | Tin Star
