"I don't have a creative bone in my body."
"I don't have time to make art!"
"I used to love (drawing/singing/piano/acting etc) when I was a child, but I haven't done it in forever!"
Do you ever catch yourself saying things like this? You are not alone! Modern life has disconnected many of us from the creative expression we all so easily enjoyed as children, but fear not! This workshop is here as a starting point to help you reconnect to the creative parts of yourself, overcome the resistance and fear you might feel to make art, and make connections with other people who want to start the journey back to themselves.
Facilitated by multi-modal artist, psychologist and creative coach Eva Fritz, we will cover multiple areas including:
with an optional follow-up catch up a few weeks later, to show-and-tell, touch base and hold each other accountable to our individual creative goals.
Whether you are a full time worker, parent or carer who is creativity-curious, or just anyone who has woken up one day and realised it has been way too long since you picked up a paint brush or did something artistic just for yourself, this workshop is designed to be the first stop on your journey to finding an artistic practice you enjoy, learning how to overcome the mental hurdles to practising it, and feeling a sense of creative community.
Please register for this free workshop, to help us know who will be joining us, and how many to cater for.
