Sketchbooking your Landscape

Spend 2 hours with Kat drawing and painting an object of YOUR landscape in a sketchbook!

A sketchbook is provided - yours to take home, with all materials supplied to use in class. We will be using dry drawing materials as well as gouache to loosely paint objects! We will start with some very loose & silly drawing exercises, move onto a super quick overview of gouache, color, and composition, and dive straight into loose object paintings.

These objects will be based around the loose concept of your landscape, the things you carry daily (think contents of handbag, your wallet, your water bottle etc) or items that have sentimental value. Feel free to bring in a piece of jewelry, a vase, or an old kids toy. Whatever you bring in is your responsibility!

This will be loose, fast, expressive, and fun!

Tickets are $65 + booking fee through Humanatix.

Tickets include an a5 sketchbook yours to take home, as well as all materials to use through the night

This workshop runs in line with Kats solo exhibition at Banshees, titled 'Object:Landscape'. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar.
