SYNTH SCHOOL from 5:00PM

Ever wondered how these amazing electronic sounds are made?
Join Julz and take a trip into the world of synthesis, sound design and beat making. This is a hands-on workshop with real hardware, real synths and real drum machines.
We assume no prior knowledge, perfect for those with little or no experience.
Our sessions are very casual, laidback and focused on exploration and learning.
Join the classroom in a guided jam, or disappear into your own world, with a synth and some headphones.

Founder of WYWS in 2017, focusing on the underground DIY electronic scene in Brisbane, Australia. Operating as both a record label and synthesizer manufacturer, Matt has released over seven projects under aliases Lakeshore and MD Cook.

LEE B
Multi-instrumentalist and multidisciplinary artist, DIY synth maker, the leader of Elktung, and a contributor to Big Dead. Lee delivers mind-bending performances on his modular system.

An open invitation to local wigglers! Bring your modular gear (or your groove box, drum machine/synth ensemble/circuit bent Furby) and join in. Our open aux cord segment is a chance for artists to showcase their sounds and connect in a welcoming environment.
