Talking Reds

We are Communist Unity. We are a pre-party fighting group who are fighting to reforge a communist party in Australia. Drawn from a variety of socialist tendencies and life experiences, we are unified by a common program: for the establishment of a democratic workers republic and the transition to a socialist society. 

This month's Talking Reds features a talk on the present and future of trans and youth rights in Queensland and Australia, the direction the present conjuncture is taking us and how we can fight it.

Talking Reds is a monthly forum held all around the country. This is the only event in Ipswich, discussing politics, history, and issues facing contemporary people in the struggle for equality

They also host Proletarian Pub Nights at Banshees on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
