Lineup |
Performers arrange full lineup, to be approved by Banshees prior to booking confirmation. We usually have 2-3 original live music acts per night. If you want more than 3 acts, contact us for approval first. When booking a show we encourage you to consider the following: - Does the lineup reflect a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives? - What actions could be taken to include Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQI+ voices in our event? Please confirm your lineup at least 5 weeks before your event, to announce 4 weeks before your event. |

Load in / Set Times |
Load in is from 5pm Fri-Sat, through the front door of the venue. Ensure your gear is loaded in and put away before doors open to the public at 7. Set times are to be decided by the performer, we recommend being flexible with your start time as our crowd can arrive late. Fri/Sat: We suggest aiming for sets at 8, 9 and 10pm and potentially playing 30-40 minutes later. Doors open at 7pm, music has to be finished by midnight. Sun: Times are negotiable from midday load in at the earliest. |

Production |
Banshees provides a PA, Engineer, 3 DIs, a 4x12 8ohm guitar cab, a four tom Pearl Export kit, Roland FP30 Digital piano and use a 24 channel Soundcraft rack-mounted digital desk. Projections behind the performer can be provided on request. Performer to provide bass amp, any extra guitar amps needed, snare and cymbals. Please arrange to share amps with other performers if possible as storage space is limited at the venue. |

Sound Check |
Sound check will be between 5pm and 7pm, whenever the bands are ready. Otherwise we will line check each band before they play. No full sound checks after 7pm. (Fri/Sat) Please confirm whether you will be arriving in time to sound check before the show. |

Ticket sales |
Price to be chosen by the performer, ticketing set up by venue. There is a small scaling fee taken from every ticket sale on our website, see page 2. This fee covers our transaction fees and OneMusic Licencing. Register and report your songs through APRA and you’ll get it back. We can sell merch through our system, and 100% of merch sales will go to the bands. A summary will be emailed to you on the Monday after your show, and the amount will be paid to your nominated bank account once you've provided me with an invoice. We suggest a $10 presale and $15 door price, but are flexible depending on your choice. Venue setup of online ticketing is non-negotiable. We need around 30 attendees to make the show worthwhile for you, and for us. If you have fewer than 10 presales by the week of the event, we reserve the right to cancel your event. |

Door Person |
Performer to provide door person, or venue can provide at $35/ph ($140-$210 fee) If there are fewer than 10 presale tickets available before the event, Banshees will provide a door person. |

Promotion |
Banshees will create Facebook event and invite performers as co-hosts. We have a Discord server and will advertise the event there. We will include the event in a “Coming Up” post on Instagram, make feature posts in the week leading up to the show, and we will print posters for display around the venue at no cost. We also list all of our shows on Giglist and Happy Gigs. Beyond this, advertising is the responsibility of the performer. On request, the venue can list your event on the Australian Tourism Database - this has different requirements, please reach out for more details. Banshees has an in-house graphic designer and can create your poster for you, at no cost. If you create your own poster using generative a.i. we will replace it. If you would like to consider a poster campaign our local promotions company is Pinpoint Distribution |

Exclusivity |
Please do not book another show in the Ipswich CBD in the 3-4 weeks before your gig at Banshees. Please consider whether free shows in the Greater Brisbane area will impact your show. |
