IS BANSHEES ALL AGES/FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Short answer: No.

Long answer: Banshees allows minors to attend ticketed events under specific circumstances, please email us at bansheesbar@gmail.com for more information. Minors who arrive at the venue without having contacted us beforehand may be turned away at the door, even if they are accompanied by an adult. We do not guarantee that the artwork or performances in the venue are family friendly.

DO YOU HAVE FOOD?
We sell packaged chips, nuts and chocolates, but do not sell meals. We encourage that you eat out in the Ipswich Central area as there are so many local food businesses, and we do allow you to bring food into the venue and eat here.

HOW DO I GET THERE?
Banshees is located at 131 Brisbane Street, Ipswich, less than 200m from the Ipswich Train Station and a short walk from the Nicholas Street Precinct. We only have one entrance, and it’s at the front!
For artists, load in is also through the front entrance.

WHERE DO I SMOKE?
Outside! No smoking or vaping inside the venue, and please don’t take your alcoholic beverages or glasses outside the venue.

DO YOU TAKE CASH/CARD?
Yes! We take most forms of currency through our Square readers, but not paper cheques or crypto.

I CAN’T FIND MY TICKET?
Check your Spam folder, or log back into the website to download the PDF files of your tickets!

IS THERE KARAOKE ON TONIGHT?
Is it Thursday? If so, YES, from 8pm-midnight. If not, NO.

WHEN DO YOU CLOSE?
Midnight most nights but if everyone leaves we are likely to close early. 

We open at 6 on Wed/Thu and 7 most Fri/Sat nights, and varied hours on Sundays.
